Does anyone know how I can get Sephiroth's Animations from FF Dissidia NT or 012?

I want to pay a modder to mod Sephiroth into another game, Risk of Rain 2. He says its possible, but he would need a model with suitable animations. Looking at the games Sephiroth has been a part of, Smash Ultimate, KH 1 and 2, The remake, Crisis Core and Dissidia/012/NT, it really only seems like Dissidia has the number of animations he would need to make a full moveset. Crisis core has like, 3 moves and one is a cutscene if it hits. He would need to rip the model from KH 1 or 2 and use the animations from those games specifically, but he's worried KH 2 does not have enough attack animations or movement animations to make it look presentable. He said he COULD take a look at smash bros, but he's worried about that too. Since smash is a side platform 3d fighter, he's worried the camera will be hard to predict on the animations. It could force us to look at, or pull us to, the side trying to look at him like Smash would. He says ff7 remake or KH2 would be the best source, unless I can find some kind of asset extractor for ff dissidia for him to use. He'd have to pick one and only use the animations from that game and he's worried between the two of them they wont have enough animations to make the character work.

I've been up and down google and have not found anything. I've found model extractors and texture extractors, but nothing for animations on any of the games and nothing for NT, just 012.

I asked the modder if it was possible to gather a bunch of animations and apply them to a single model and he said "models have a skeleton, only animations made for that skeleton can work with it. There are ways to retarget animations from one skeleton to the other, but I never managed to make it work well, it's always very broken, so I don't do it."

So I don't know about Dissidia (other than that NT/Arcade and 012/original are VERY different beasts) but KH2's Sephiroth has 30~ animations ranging from standing idle, walking, running (very short anim, meant to loop I think), and several attack and hit animations as well. These can be extracted with the use of a particular KH2 model viewer AND a very specific Noesis plug-in that'll allow you to convert the animation data into .fbx and import into Blender (how I did it).

Sadly those went down with Xentax, but I have a copy of the requisite viewer/.dll files for Noesis if you'd be okay using the KH2 Sephiroth model because KH2's skeleton is a mess and converting its very specific anim. format to Dissidia or FF7Rebirth or whatever would be near impossible. I can also bundle up his model and .mset (animations) file so your modder doesn't have to rip it themselves, if you'd like. Just let me know and I'll check back in a day or so.

Sure, not a prob! Model viewer, the model+animations, the required DLL file for Noesis, and instructions on how to get it all working to export animations are right this way.

That should be everything needed to convert him into RoR2, I think. Not up to snuff on how one would actually go about modding in a new player model character, but. (shrug)? Best of luck!
