As if the evil war against censorship on internet content (I'm fucking looking at you, Visa, Mastercard, & Paypal, fuck y'all for trying to force Japan into censorship. >:U ) wasn't bad enough, some evil feminist groups as well as the UK government (I hope Dazz signed the petition to appealed the child protection act, cuz if he didn't, that'll be terrible!) decided to take things a little too far by boycotting certain games (such as Detroit: Become Human, GTA 5, Mortal kombat games, and as well as hens wearing ties games on Steam & Itch.io involving siblings having relations, and other stuff) and force platforms such as Discord & other social media platforms to have a age verification that requires a ID or photo of you to get into those platforms.
We shouldn't let our countries & their governments treat us & how we use the internent like children such to protect the real life children* just because some fucking card payment companies noticed adults are using it to buy R18 Japanese media and some freaking feminist group (who defended at pedo film that was on fucking Netflix, shame you y'all) didn't like what hens wearing ties games we play. Most of us are freaking grown-ups and shouldn't have other conutries' governments telling us what we can & can't do ffs!
Bottom line, unless something good to counter this BS happens (Japan ia doing something about it as we speak btw), we're entering the 1984 style world where the governents can spy on what you do on the internet! And the fact no one in this community made a thread about it in the forums it's me having second thoughts

It is worse than you think. FAR worse, read up on the Kids Online Safety Act that is being rolled out, it will force people to use IDs to access content. Something similar is happening in the UK right now and in mid-August, this will hit Youtube.

IKR, why the hell would I need to use my freaking ID to watch some of my friends' Bomberman YouTube videos, any Japanese YouTuber's stream of Bomberman, any funny meme video I like, any Nightcore song, and some of my favorite creators' videos? YouTube staff are just treating their users like children and ppl and to do somethnig about it! >:U
Also: Seems like GTA & Saints Row games are gonna be delisted thanks to this fucked-up law. Honestly, I never cared for either games, but that's going a bit too far...

A bunch of upset Spinsters and male "Sympathizers" or "Allies". They understand little that the very causes they are fighting for may be set back by doing all of this. If these morons who say they stand for women waste their time on media rather than going after real scumbags, victims of genuine abuse will not be taken seriously. Tell that to the 13-year-old who was gang raped in Catania Italy or the girls groomed and exploited in the UK for decades. They would have KILLED for advocacy like this, instead it is being wasted on these endeavors. That is what makes my blood boil, girls who have been victimized, they are not being heard and instead these same morons believe media is the problem. Those who are from more backwater countries do this anyway regardless of modern media's influence.
I have yet to hear about how that homeless woman got torched on that train a year ago from them.
