Are the sound effects in AoC extractable too? (I'm new at this.)

Nice! Remind me if you will, what's the file type? I have the model and textures I want, now I need voiceclips Wink

mmmm sadly idk what the filetype is since all audio files are in separate containers.

HOWEVER, I can tell u which RDB and folder it's in
romfs\asset\[extraction folder]\RRPreview\srsa
or
romfs\asset\[extraction folder]\RRPreview\srst

The files in the SRST folder can be extracted with VGToolbox with advanced file cutter and searching for KTSS headers, the files in the SRSA are a bit different, I believe they're adcpm files inside the archive files.
srsa:
s - ?
r - resource
s - sound
a - archive

srst:
s - ?
r - resource
s - sound
t - tracks

Thanks! I've decided to post in HCS forums for extra help. If all else fails, we have Xentax.

Anyone have any advice for ripping Hyrule Warriors Definitive switch sounds, I know someone who can rip Hyrule Warriors Definitive models, but not the sounds/voices?

@Tornevas: Did you get soundbank files? I believe the extension is kts2something, I forget right now.

In Age of Calamity, also, the sounds appear to be stored in individual sound banks. Is it okay if I upload the converted clips, even if they're missing names?

They got .bin.gz files but not soundbank files? Is there a specific program for Switch audio files?

We're hoping to rip Enemy/NPC voices from Hyrule Warriors Definitive.

Oh, as for "ripping converted clips", I meant for AoC lol.

But for DE I'm not sure, I never delved into it myself.

I'd be interested in AoC sound files. Specifically the french audio for Zelda and Urbosa but if they're unlisted, I wouldn't mind downloading the whole thing.

Do you know anything about Nintendo switch sound ripping in general? The person I know can rip HWDE model files, but doesn't know how to do sound files? Is there anything special to open .Bin.GZ and .Bin files from Switch games?

I'm interested if the enemies/NPCs have different sounds. It doesn't seem like they would, but HWDE enemies have different sounds their games of origins, even stuff like Skyward Sword moblins.

I only dumped the demo of AoC, @MisterRu. I'm supposed to get my full game soon. I'll dump it as soon as I get it and get to work, I'll have all the files.

Well, there's no uniform process, @Tornevas. It depends on the game.

I imagine sound ripping would be similar to AoC and other Nintendo Switch Warriors games?

Maybe I should've made a commission thread, but I don't know if it'd get noticed.

I can't seem to locate the characters' textures in Age of Calamity. Every folder except "CharacterEditor" has a g1t folder, and I haven't the foggiest clue where they are. Help please? Very Sad

EDIT: Never mind, I got it Smile
