Why not create a birthday thread for everyone to enjoy? That way if it is someone's birthday you can post in that thread Happy Birthday messages. Would make everything more organized in my opinion. But if you don't like the idea I understand.

we tried it once, we came to the comclusion it kinda defeats the point of it being special for any one person.
