I don't know many shoot'em games (and it's not in my general interests), so I likely would be helping little to none.

Haha, yeah, that seems to be the way people are going with this one, which is great, but I don't know much about them.
If that's what you all want to do, great! I'll hand the reins over to someone who knows what they're doing and take a backseat/cheerleader position in that project.

II do have a few DOS educational games that I've been meaning to finish. And I'd love to see someone rip a Carmen Sandiego game.

Personally I'd vote for Beat-em-ups. They're fairly straight-forward and appear on every platform.
