I'm sorry, but he still looks kind of slanted. Have you tried 3dvia?

Still doesnt look very good either, you should really consider using the 3d ripper dx plugin for 3ds max

Oh wow, someone else that knows Giftpia, I love this game

Too bad there isn't a translated version anywhere (I think?). The songs are great. Also, good job on the ripping! Do you plan to rip every villager?

I didn't use that tutorial, but I basically used the same concept.

oh wow you fixed the model Roxas358 Ty

how did you do it? I want to know how for future rips
also at AllanSword 3D Via makes the models parts go into each other and the face is inside the body.
And at Mutsukki i do plan to get every Villager i just need to get to each part first, and i want these uploaded first before, cause i don't want to rip more and in the end have to re do it.
also while going through this game i use the English script found here
http://kirameki.altervista.org/eng/giftpia.php
they wanted to make a English Patch the guys on that English script website but they don't have any hackers that want to put their script on the rom of the game or the actual Disk.
at thegameexplorer do you mean the .3dr dx plugin? cause i download a trial of 3D studio max and the .3dr file didn't work when i tried to use it
i feel kinda dumb for not ripping the second model correctly

Here's a tutorial.
[spoiler=
Tutorial]
- First select all objects with *A*. Then Shift select one of the objects that are part of the model and hit *Ctrl+J* on your keyboard.
- Next go into *Edit Mode*, make sure all of the vertices are selected.
- Now rotate the character. So go into top view and hit *R* on your keyboard.
- Rotate the model until it looks like image 2. Where as it start out as image 1.
![[Image: Tutorial1.png]](http://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/aa339/EternalLight500/Tutorial1.png)
- Also, you may be able to tell that the model looks a bit squished from the top. In this case, hit *S* the *Y* to scale the model on the Y-Axis.
![[Image: Tutorial5.png]](http://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/aa339/EternalLight500/Tutorial5.png)
![[Image: Tutorial6.png]](http://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/aa339/EternalLight500/Tutorial6.png)
- Now from the front view, use shear to get image 2 rather the image 1.
![[Image: Tutorial3.png]](http://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/aa339/EternalLight500/Tutorial3.png)
- Finally go into side view and shear the model until it looks good.
![[Image: Tutorial7.png]](http://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/aa339/EternalLight500/Tutorial7.png)
![[Image: Tutorial8.png]](http://i1192.photobucket.com/albums/aa339/EternalLight500/Tutorial8.png)
- Once these steps are done, check the model for any odd scaling. And It should eventually be fixed.

Also Note:
*X* will scale left to right.
*Y* will scale front to back.
*Z* will scale top to bottom.
*S* alone will scale in all 3 directions.
Also:
*R* will rotate the model. *X, Y, Z* can be used here as well.

Did you mess with the UVs? Because his shoes and buttons just look... off.
