My absolute favorite video game score comes from Final Fantasy X.
I have 2. The Yoshi Star and Tall Trunk Galaxy Theme from Super Mario Galaxy 2, as well as an Area in Final Fantasy 13, where Sazh and Vanille go travel across some sort of area filled the enemies "Bombs", I dunno, It's an area in The Vile Peaks. Question

That's Link's Awakening, not Zelda 2.
Have a sample of Konami's early works
oh and playing through Mirror's Edge revealed to me that the music in that game is excellent

provides a great atmosphere for each level and aaaaaaa it's subtle but it works out so well
you know

everyone says mirror's edge has great music

but i get so immersed in the game that i never even hear it lol

that's also what's so cool about things that do their job:
you won't notice stuff unless the stuff does a bad job

but it's great to just stop for a second and take in your surroundings
and then with that music in the background going hand in hand with the environment, it's just awesome
I've also listened to Still Alive nonstop since I beat the game, hahaha
such a great way to close out the game :')

Um, Still Alive is from Portal, not Mirror's Edge.
