The one thing I'm not liking is how the beam katana's perspective makes it seem like it's going out and backwards

but the tip of it looks bent as hell :K
Try to make it point along with the beam



other than that, this is beautiful. I like how the glow effect turned out

You got the angle right, though

Try and slim the receiver down a bit more; it's looking a bit too big and I think that's what's causing the perspective problem :K
