Big O was a failure in Japan but much more successful in the West. Japan as a whole dislikes Batman too. It goes to show you how different our culture's tastes are.

Really? I skimmed through a book at a store once about Batman in Japan, and it said it was fairly popular over there. Huh.

also, the manga of Black Butler is better. Bones is doing the whole "got too close to the manga, have to create completely different storyline" thing like they did with Fullmetal Alchemist.

oh and for some reason I ended up watching sailor moon for kicks

Ironically I realized it isn't as bad as a lot of people make it out to be, though I may have to watch the orignial japanese version for comparison to the english version because I've heard that the old english dub butchered it.
