It will let me talk to my skype friends but I can't hear a word they are saying because my speakers or headset speaker won't work.

Apparently the issue is skype only so skype is being a dog.
Nevermind i fixed the problem~

It wasn't muted. I had to uninstall then reinstall. Everyone could hear me but I couldn't hear anybody.
