[3DS] Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Ripping
#1
Hey everyone

I'm currently ripping asset's from the 3ds version of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, right now I'm only doing textures (currently using citra to dump them) but I'm interested in ripping the audio and (probably) models. However I've never seen the file formats the assets use and because of that I don't know how to rip them.

The formats are:
.pck (Audio)

.cog/.gog (Models)

.ctxt/.gtxt (Textures)

If anyone has any information about the formats used in this port and how to rip them would be great

Hey man! Seems like you have an easy extraction on your hands!

Pck is literally just a pack file.

If you want to extract it, I'd recommend using Wwise Unpacker.

& Here's a video tutorial on how to extract it!

Hope this helps!

So here's a small update on this:

I found out the .gtxt/.gpu formats are actually just renamed .ctpk files (why, i don't know either), so I can use something like https://github.com/dnasdw/ctpktool to extract them (which i tried once and it worked)

The model formats however are still a mystery (and i'm not smart enough to reverse engineer them)

Also gonna drop this here (a document on what i know about each format this game uses):
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1XQUh...p=drivesdk

bye now
