Ok, fuck this. And Jetters, please stop humouring idiots; it's really not worth it.

Both added. I'd also like to mention that supersmashbrawl has sent in one of his entries already! What a great work ethic.

We're nearing the end of the month, so I'm going to send reminder PMs for people who have entries for the first week. It's crunch time, people!

Whew... Man, I was having all sorts of computer problems for a while there, but now it's taken care of, and just in time. Big Grin

Say... if I submit my essay, but I change my mind or manage to do a podcast version in time before the 28th... ... am I allowed to re-submit my entry?

If it's before the deadline, I'll allow you to change/fix your entry.

Just reminding you guys that the 30 Days Event is going live on The VG Resource in 2 days! This means that if you've taken an article in the first week, you should definitely get your butt in gear and PM me your entries! For what it's worth, I should have the Day 1 and 2 submissions by now.

Those who miss their deadline will still get the entry uploaded, but after the event is over in a 'latecomers' post. People who punk out entirely will have some kind of penalty inflicted - I've not decided what yet.

Don't give up, people! Let the pressure of the deadline put you in focus and get those creative juices flowing!

I'll start my articles this weekend, so I wanted to ask if the articles need to have some specific format or such.

No, not really. There's a word limit and a slight restriction to image width; but otherwise, go nuts.

One final post for this thread:

Now that the event is live, we have a dedicated discussion thread for the entries:
http://www.spriters-resource.com/communi...?tid=17271

Please bring all discussion there. Also, a little plea for help - at this stage, Day 5 (Game character you feel you are most like (or wish you were)) has still been unclaimed. I'm working on having doing a bonus entry for it, but if anyone's interested on doing that one also, we'd love for you to give it a shot. PM me about it.
