Hey everyone,

so I'm a total n00b at sprite ripping, and that's why I'm here to ask for your help! Defender of Texel is a mobile game available on Apple Products as well as Android smartphones/tablets. The game is free (although you can make in-game purchases, but that's another story). Anywho, the game has awesome 8-bit/16-bit characters which make up like 80%+ of all the graphics.

There are tons and tons of fighters in the game, so naturally, there are gonna be a lot of sprites to rip. Since there are so many to rip, I won't ask anyone to rip all of them (especially since new fighters are being added like every week) but I do want a few certain fighters to be ripped, or more importantly, someone to teach me a quick, easy, yet efficient way to rip sprites from the game.

Any help at all is appreciated, thanks in advance!

Most of you probably never heard from the boardgame "Starfarers of Catan" and probably even less of you knew there was a video game.
As far as I know the Videogame was only released in Germany.

The game was released in 2000 for the PC. It has Sprites, Sounds, Models and Textures. Now I want to rip Stuff from it because I think it's an awesome game.

However, I need some help. Almost everything is stored in .rep files.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/mosygpfias8p1t..._voice.zip

Can somebody take a look at them?
I uploaded 2 of the 60 files, Textures and Voices.
I'm mostly interested in Sounds and Voices but I included Textures because they could be a bit easier to rip.
I can upload more if somebody is interested.

Note: I found some TGA files in the folder, so maybe thats what you should look for?

I recently started playing a game called The Neverhood, and I figured I might like to try and rip sprites from it sometime. Thing is, all of its resources are in BLB files, and although I found one or two tools that managed to actually do something with the files, the most they could really do was get sound files.

Usually I wouldn't ask for someone to make this since a big chunk would be finding out how the format's put together, but I found some documentation on the file type. From my knowledge this information is enough to be able to extract/decompress files, although I don't know a language that can do so.

So yeah, would someone be willing to do this? I'd only need it to decompress the image files, although if audio and other files wouldn't be too much work then that would obviously be a bonus.
In any case I'd be extremely grateful if someone could do this, just a command-line program would be more than enough.

It seems our Fire Emblem areas are rather lacking. Many sheets haven't yet been ripped, and many of those that have are missing frames or contain extraneous effects not part of the actual character sprites.

I'm sure these areas would be very useful to the FE community interested in making fangames and for referencing when producing new assets.

So, on behalf of Fire Emblemers, I request that some of the FE games get more extensive, more organized rips.

Thanks ^^
