It doesn't have a particular story or setting, instead a series of different ones that we create short stories about. I do the writing while my brother does the artwork.

i dunno i guess i wanted to make this thread cause playing instruments a pretty big part of my life and there are a lot of things to say on the subject so yeah

so yeah as some of you might know i play bass
i also do guitar and piano (mostly to compose things because beautiful 9th chords mmmmmm Heart)

but yeah mostly bass and i play a lot of funk and jazz music so i slap a lot (if you don't know what slap bass is look it up man youre missing out)

i haven't been playing for that long (started guitar 6 years ago and moved on to bass 4 years ago) but i play about 1hour per day so yeah ive been getting better quite fast

to get technical, playing fast and complicated is not really much of a problem anymore for me, this past year ive been focalizing more on improv and phrasing
since ive never really looked up tabs or sheet music for anything my ear is really good (not to brag, really, but yeah i can play something i listen to almost instantly)

the biggest problem i have though is that some very talented bassists i know have told me my playing style is missing some groove because i play a teensy bit too early on the notes
personally i have no idea how to work on this and its been troubling me so yeah]]>

Hello !

Lately, I just had a crazy idea of comic and it was time for me to test my own FF6-styled Yoshi sprites.
For those who are not familiar with FF6 : Terra, the protagonist, was controlled by the evil Kefka with a Slave Crown to turn her into an Imperial weapon. When Kefka first tested it, he asked her to wipe out soldier and so, she wiped out 50 of them within 3 minutes.

And now, what if Kefka controlled someone else with as much potential as an imperial weapon and that isn't necessarily from a FF universe ... then Yoshi came into my mind.

PS : [MyNotSoInterestingLife] I hesitated a little bit before posting or even making this comic because my self-esteem isn't very high. Nerdy kids like me (with even a disability in my case) were easy target for bullies at school and I'm still struggling with the aftermaths such as anxiety. So it doesn't take much to make me doubt about if an idea is good or not because I'm always afraid that it wouldn't. [/MyNotSoInterestingLife]
So if this attempt passes the test, I might make more comics as new ideas come into my mind.

As suggested in a reply, what was just a simple webcomic test is turning into a Kefka-centered comic where our FF6 main villain must find a new slave after Terra slipped from his grip. Various characters from different videogames will be put to test, with mixed results.

Starting from this idea, I made a first draft of a heading. Here it is

I'm gonna use this thread to post any animations, or toy programs I make. My plan for toy programs is to just...well play and mess around with programming + animating. I've got a few ideas, but none that I'd like to do without some nice models heh.

Anyways, here's what I'm doing right now:

I'm working on a Charizard seismic toss animation as well as another animation for KingOfChaos over at kc-mm. These are basically just keyframes without any polish. There are extra frames just to see the motion. The transition from the rotation to throw is just temp, I did it just to show them both together.

I'm still not happy with the throw key frames. Specifically when Charizard's head points up a lot. It doesn't give off that pulling feeling from the keyframes only.

Anyone have any crits on this so far? Does the animation read well?

The squish and stretching scale curves are the exact inverse of eachother throughout and the animation looks amazing (For a ball haha- thinking about it again, this should've been way more obvious to me)

Anyways, expect more soon. Any feedback is welcome as well as any animation tutorials or free (blender) rigs.

In the future, I'll probably take character animation requests just because it's so fun Tongue
