Hi! I happen to have the near entirety of the character voice clips for Pokemon Masters EX, and they're the most organized in English than Japanese, but I can hopefully put the Japanese version there eventually.

However, there are a few things about the page that I'd better address:

-The page might wanna be renamed from "Pokemon Masters" to "Pokemon Masters EX". It's not the biggest deal, as the game is still identifiable, but I thought I'd let you know.

-I think there should be a rework for the sections. Right now, it has "Character Voices (English)" with Red's voice and the Masters OC characters that are in waiting from my end. I think it would be a better idea to have the characters sorted by region/game of origin, which would mean:
*Pasio characters (aka, OCs or original designs), then the game regions in order.

-And lastly, there's a bit of a concern I have with some quotes. Long story short, characters have a set of voice clips, and sometimes get a new set of voice when they get a new outfit in game. After some time (past the 2nd anniversary of the game), they've started to make it so characters who have had voice work past this time period have voiced interactions with select other characters, but these voice clips aren't in the game unless they're ready to be used. But I really don't know how to handle that. Options are:
*Putting them separately on the character's sound file (but said sound files may need an update depending on what's added to the game)
*Have an "Interactions" section with a single sound file per language, but it'd need to be updated almost every month.
*Have that "Interactions" section with individual pairings (some of which would need an update for whenever the second half of the interaction is complete)

I hope I explained myself well enough because I'm not sure if I made it understandable enough for someone who isn't familiar with the game.

Wild Hearts Music and Sound Effect Ripping Guide

Hello Wild Hearts fans!

Since Wild Hearts never released an official soundtrack, and the only music available is gameplay recordings on YouTube, I thought I'd share a very simple way to extract and convert the sound files from the game.

Extracting the music and sound files:

Music:
Tools used: https://github.com/Hairo/kvs-tools/releases

Navigate to the "WILD HEARTS\00_game\target_origin\ex\asset\fdata_ms12\package\data" folder. You should see 7 files with the .file extension.

Drag and drop "0x272c6efb.file" onto "kvs_extract.exe" and it will create a "out" folder within the same directory. Rename that directory to "Gameplay Music" or something similar. There should be 204 .kvs files totaling about 777 MB

Drag and drop "0x27379870.file" onto "kvs_extract.exe" and it will create a "out" folder within the same directory. Rename that directory to "Other Music" or something similar. There should be 5 .kvs files totaling about 42 MB

Move these two folders into your working directory (since it is currently in the game directory).

Sound Effects:
Tools used: https://github.com/DeathChaos25/fdata_dump/releases

Navigate to the "WILD HEARTS\00_game\target_origin\ex\asset\fdata_ms12\package" folder, there should be 8,913 .fdata files and a couple other files and folders.

(The deDE, enUS, esES, frFR, itIT, and jaJP folders all have .fdata files too, probably voice lines for each of the associated languages)

Go up one folder and drag and drop the "package" folder onto the "fdata_dump.exe" tool from GitHub. This will extract the contents into a new subdirectory within "package" called "fdata_out".

Wait for it to finish, then move the "fdata_out" directory into your working directory (since it is currently in the game directory).

Navigate to the "fdata_out\RRPreview\srsa" folder, there should be 247 .srsa files.

Converting the music and sound files:
Tools used: https://www.foobar2000.org/download (or https://portableapps.com/apps/music_video/fb2kportable), and https://www.foobar2000.org/components/vi..._vgmstream

Both filetypes, .kvs and .srsa, can be opened, played, and converted using foobar2000 with the vgmstream decoder.

Simply, with the decoder installed, drag and drop one or all of the files into foobar2000. You can play them individually and convert them from here by right clicking the files.

I highly recommend going to "File -> Preferences -> Playback -> Decoding -> vgmstream" and changing the loop count for some tracks so that they play for a little bit longer
For example, Sporetail's enraged battle music (which is shared with one other monster, maybe Venomglider) is track #13 (track #12 is the normal battle music) in the folder with 204 .kvs files that total to 777 MB. With the default loop count it plays for only 1.5 minutes, but with a loopcount of 8 it will play for 5 minutes. I highly recommend some of the tracks to play for a bit longer than just a few minutes.

Track #142 is a good one, it's a vocal theme song for Wild Hearts

I converted the tracks to MP3 using lame.exe located within this installer: https://www.foobar2000.org/encoderpack If you're using the portable version of foobar2000, you can use https://github.com/Bioruebe/UniExtract2 to extract lame.exe from the installer. I'm sure there's other ways of getting lame.exe though.

This took quite some trickery to accomplish but, it's done.

All of these are the announcer files, basic sound effects, music that plays during the main menu, the actual gameplay, the players themselves, etc.
I'm sure you people remember the classic "Was that absolutely necessary?" line from John Madden in this game.

This is the Playstation 1 version of the game as the N64 version, omitted quite a few of them from the PS1 game, as the PS1 includes some bleeped out profanity lines.

Quote:
here's a pretty funny story about this, I'm not making anything up here, this is a true story. It was the nightmare before 2024. A year ago, I was streaming Oogie's Revenge, a rather underrated hack n slash game by Capcom to a couple of my friends, one of the abilities Jack was able to do was grab the opponent and launch him around. However everytime this ability is used, Jack would scream out "SOUL ROBBER!" It's one of those repetitive sound effect usages that sounds really grating at first but it would kinda numb itself out the more you play it. I found it pretty endearing, I grew up playing games with ridiculous sound design like this all the time. This singular voiceline started a really funny inside joke between my friends and I, and that would be amplified by the moment Jack Skellington released in Fortnite. We wanted to add the Soul Robber voiceclip to our discord server so I checked to see if Oogie's Revenge was on Sounds Resource and there this was an entry by an anonymous uploader which had sounds that weren't named and have sounds I never even heard during my time with this game. Interesting, but not really what I was looking for. So I decide to take matters into my own hands and try to rip the sounds. I started by extracting the ps2 version and- Oh right, I forgot that the PS2 disc format is encrypted... Okay, so I went with plan B; I obtained the Xbox version of the game, which does have its files available. I went through the files and... Wait, what is a "XWB" file? So I did a quick bit of searching and figuring out how to open the through a FooBar2000 Component. So now I had to find that iconic phrase, so I went through jaksys.xwb and like striking gold, I managed to find the "SOUL ROBBER!" sound effect. All of this took place in a VC so we all lost our marbles at the sight of it. I converted it to WAV and it's been forever immortalized in our server's soundboard and a couple of memes we made outta it. This joke never actually died to my surprise.

Fast forward to today, it's now October and the new Fortnitemares is happening, Pumpkin King and Sally got added to the shop, and like tradition, the movie was fresh in the public's mind again and for my friends and I, the game was also fresh in our heads. I managed to recreate Jack's Soul Robber using one of the items in the game. Okay, that wasn't TODAY today but the point is, it got relevant again. Getting back on track, Right as I was about to do some drawing, my friends asked me to join them in a Roblox game as there was a kid who was speaking Spanish in Roblox VC wearing a Jack Skellington avatar bothering them. So for a funny idea to get the kid's attention off my friend (in a non malicious way, I'm not a bully ). I thought it'd be humorous to bust out my Jack Skellington avatar and the Soul Robber sound effect on my soundboard. I unplugged my drawing tablet and I hopped on the game, switching my mic to the soundboard. The plan worked out pretty well. I got the kid's attention away from my friend and now they're flocking over to me, a bullet I intended to take for my friend. I had no idea what they're saying but it seems like they were pretty excited to see another Jack Skellington and followed me around. Another kid, also had vc, this time speaking english decided to join in on the flock. They both called me "Saul Robert" since that was the only sound I had for the bit, they started to repeat after me like it was an echo chamber. It was pretty funny, but that was when I came to the realization that a repeating the "SOUL ROBBER" sound effect like a Pokemon is gonna get me so far until the bit wears off the funny factor, I was underprepared. So as a quick act of improvising, I decided to obtain the XBOX version of the game again in an attempt to get more sounds. While that was happening, I decided to mic up and do a shitty Jack Skellington impression on the spot and I had to go all in for the bit and act in-character too. (Although, my friends said it was pretty decent lol.) So a couple rounds of MMX happened, one of the moments I'll mention is when I went sheriff and I gathered around my friends as people were getting vanquished one by one, one of my other friends who was across the hall was screaming and telling me that the murderer was the other Jack right before they died. So I decided to approach the hallway and get my gun out, right beside me was the other Jack Skellington. Like a game of quickdraw, I had to quickly react to him. I pretty much just shot him before he approached me, in which I had to follow up with saying in vc, "I'm sorry, Friend. As the real Pumpkin King, I had to shoot you just to protect all of Halloween town." Saying that as I felt a little bad, but also wanting to commit to the "Meet n Greet" bit. other than that, my friends and I had a fun time with this session. But the echo chamber I accidentally created with the "SOUL ROBBER!" sound almost drove me to insanity since I was being followed around everywhere ingame and kids were just saying it out loud. It wasn't like an "angry" sort of insane, it was just "oh god what have I started?" sort of way and I wanted some space away from the crowd. My fault, 100%. At the same time I found it endearing, they were clearly having fun. Although they kept asking me to accept their friend request. But I couldn't have the heart to say "No" flat out, but I really didn't want to accept it, so I pretty much just said "I'm sorry, but I have my remaining friend slots for my friends at Halloween Town." Oogie's Revenge was fully downloaded again and unfortunately, it meant that it was time for me to rip more sounds from this game. Just like how Jack leaves town to find new ideas for his holiday, I got off Roblox and got to work on ripping these sounds. Was it a nice thing for me to decline the friend request? Eh, maybe not. Did I have fun with it? Yes, very much so. Sure I may or may not have given these roblox kids a new vocal stim from a game barely anyone knows and I may have irreparably reduced Jack Skellington as "Saul Robert" to these kids. Who cares? I made their day.

But one thing's for certain, they'll be destined to grow up as DMC/HacknSlash enthusiasts in the whatever future.

While I was waiting for my Ultimate Tenkaichi submissions to be approved (which I uploaded on January 7th), I decided to rip (nearly) all the audio from the Raging Blast trilogy.

And yes, Ultimate Tenkaichi is part of that trilogy. It was referred to as Raging Blast 3 (RB3) during its development phase, so it is by all means a Raging Blast game, regardless of how it turned out.

Heyo,

I've been developing modding tools for Luigi's Manson for some years now. Didn't see a rip of the full sound (with sequenced sounds) out there.

Figured i'd plop this here, in that case

Here's the link to the archive, it contains the sound seqeunces as well as the samples that compose them:

If you'd like more info about the sounds, here's a spreadsheet for them

I couldn't find these online so I ripped them - they were hidden in the instrument data for a song rather in a more traditional form - probably what eluded most people.

They are uploaded at https://www.sounds-resource.com/playstat...tronbonne/

and are currently 'pending'.

I was making a toy servbot and wanted all the lunch game sounds.

Sounds include A-Lunch B-Lunch D-Lunch Curry Rice and Spaghetti! Each X 3 for three different levels of emotion.

Great for a Servbot lunch sound board.

cheers,

Hello all, I've joined the Sounds Resource to try my hand at ripping sounds. I'm starting with Family Game Night 4 by EA and I've already organised all the files into a big folder organised by the main Voices/Sounds categories. I've kept a couple of short jingles in the final folder. The longest one is about 16 seconds. I've already screenshotted the game and added it to TSR for approval, though I'm not sure if it's okay to just upload the one organised .zip file and not have to split it up into different games etc. Thanks!

EDIT for December 12, 2023: Just editing the initial post to say that I have sent the soundpack for review
Now all I need to do is wait...
