Paint is super limited, but for years it was right there, instant boot-up, no nonsense. I used it for everything from sloppy meme edits to sketching out sprite layouts before moving to something better. Honestly kind of miss that simplicity.
Paint 3D tried to be the evolution, and weirdly... it kind of worked? Not for pixel art obviously, but for quick image tweaking, transparency, and basic 3D visualization, it wasn’t terrible.
