Hyrule Warriors Dorf actually has a huge moveset potential. Just reduce the range for most of the attacks (most of them hit almost the entire screen), and you've actually got a solid move pool.
I bet Sakurai would be unable to wrap his head around the size of his swords though, and deem them "too big" to do "hocus pocus" for.
