Opinions shouldn't just be accepted because it might hurt the other party's feelings. Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean it's a good one, plain and simple.
It doesn't stop the other party from still disagreeing and sticking to their opinions.

That's just what I'm saying though. You're free to disagree and such, but there's no need to be an asshole about it. Just state your points loud and clear. Saying things like "Your view sucks," and etc. only serves to create flamewars and unnecessary conflict. Leave that kind of stuff out, and the discussions will be better, I promise you.
