I went in and picked it up early
But, but... I just unlocked the Lightning cup and the retro cups brought back my least favorite tracks from every previous console Mario Kart! Seriously, my least favorite track from each of SNES, N64, Double Dash and Wii are all in here. What did I do to deserve this?
I haven't played any of the handheld Mario Karts except for the GBA one briefly, so I can't really say anything about them.
spoilered for spoilers:
SNES - Donut Plains 3 (at least water doesn't count as a pit anymore)
N64 - Yoshi Valley (doesn't seem so bad here thankfully)
DD - Dry Dry Desert (only because it was boring, they've spiced it up a bit
)
Wii - Grumble Volcano (AAAAAAAAAAAAGH)
