Also, for a quick fix... Open Blender( If you haven't got it, download it ).
step 1) Right-click on the model.( selects the desired mesh )
step 2) press tab( enters edit mode )
step 3) press A( make sure all the vertices are yellow, indicating all are selected );
step 4) pres W( opens "Special Menu" )
step 5) select "Remove Doubles".( Removes vertices that are in the same position as other vertices )
step 6) press f12 to preview your model!
