The right leg is bothering me like crazy!



SLIGHT update.



Going to work off Virtuaboy123's edit. I've edited his edit. Fixing some minor things I thought would bring out more of the sprite.
I'll be working on a small sheet of this now. Will try to make a 4 frame running animation.

Mario, I made this from that edit of Mario360's sprite. I worked on it so much that there is barely a resemblance.



I don't intend on making a sheet of this. If I do it will be pretty small.

Animation fail. The animation is going too slow. I fixed all the sprites to this animation already. Just putting it up here for show.



I did start on this animation because I got bored waiting for comments. I fixed it up the best I can but I most likely will scrap it because It's lazily done.

Here is the update. Again C+C needed.

I took note of everyone's comments. I fixed most of the selective outlining problems, I made sure the eyes and the mouth are centered evenly. I even remove the pointless shade of red in the mouth of Boo and replaced it with black.






I might dither.

My issues are that there is some selective outline fails I overlooked.

I've always wanted to have my work on the archive since I was a beginner. I will start with this. Please help me improve this sprite. Once it's at it's highest quality I will make a sheet and submit it.[/spoiler]

Alright guys. Before I show you these. I must ask for no C+C on these two drawings. I don't care about them as a drawing at all really. It's not that I don't like C+C, it's just these were pretty much rushed down to get used as a base. It's like giving critique to a blank canvas. These will be turned into sprites, Capcom vs SNK style. So I'll need to C+C to begin as soon as move towards the actual spriting part.

The things wrong with this is:

-That his shirt looks stiff. As soon as I work on this the shirt will look much softer and I have all the great artists on here to guide me through the way.

- He has no hands, this is because I suck at drawing hands, so I am going to either take pre-drawn hands or work on the hands when I'm at the line art portion (which is most-likely to happen).

- One leg is shorter than the other, again I will fix this when I'm on the line art portion.

Mage Sprite Commission

[spoiler]I was hired to make sprites for a game. He's not paying me for what I'm worth. This is a sprite I made him. C+C would be nice, but the sprite wont be modified since the guy wants it just like this.





Update: I had quit due to his pretentious nature and his low pay.

I was being paid $10 (that sprite sheet isn't even done yet I mind you!) for 30 x 30 sprites including Idle stance, attack, death, walking, and hurt animation. I also had to create a magic projectile for the mage. I would have normally charged a little less than $40 for this, but that would be too expensive for the guy. I didn't mind charging only $10 per sprite sheet but he would constantly bother me over minor issues. Issues that weren't even mistakes but issues of preference. I hate that kind of stuff.[/spoiler]
