i am not an expert in terms of M&L, but i can tell you that looks nothing like a sprite on said style. you dont seem to fully get how the perspective works, nor the whole concept of the antialiasing going on on it. not to mention you mirroed the image in such a cheap way the whole sprite looks awfully odd.
