Hero: Ashton K. Nordenfelt
Raised in a northern military based nation with harsh conditions and the fear of death at any moment. After catching a rare disease at a young age, it became apparent to his father that he was bound to die before even reaching adulthood and his life is expendable because of this. He was raised to become a heavy weapons soldier and join the army to fight and die for his country, rather than die painfully from the disease. During a mission in a foreign nation, Ashton meets a girl with the same disease, and realizes that lot's of people are dying from it and decides to go out and find the cure for it before it takes his own life. Ashton is branded a traitor of the military and has no choice but to move forward from there.[/spoiler]

well that was fun.
