mm is ok, but it's mostly sidequests for one mask that you can't use out of boss battles without a glitch or hack

Well that's the thing, the Fierce Deity mask was a sidequest, as in, it was optional. The game is perfectly enjoyable without it, it's just there for people who want to give themselves a challenge. I really don't understand your reasoning anyway, considering most of what you need (masks) to get the Fierce Deity mask you get playing through the game normally anyway.
