How do I rip sprites from GBA games? - alphabetlorefan2003 - 08-09-2025 So uhh, I am basically trying to rip every sprite in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!, but there's one problem: how can I rip the sprites? Now, I could just use VBA's OAM viewer but the thing is that I can't rip the sprites that aren't visible, and there are also unused stuff in some microgames (like Mountain Mountin' which has an unused walking animation) that I want to rip, which I can't with the viewer because well, those sprites are unused. RE: How do I rip sprites from GBA games? - alphabetlorefan2003 - 08-09-2025 Addendum: when I used the OAM viewer now, the sprites are corrupted!
RE: How do I rip sprites from GBA games? - Kramlack - 08-14-2025 Which version of Visual Boy Advance are you using? Is there a particular graphic that's appearing corrupted, or is it the OAM Viewer in general? For unused stuff, and assuming there's no graphic compression, you could use a program like YY-CHR and see what's in the ROM. The OAM Viewer seems to work just fine on my copy of Visual Boy Advance 1.7.2 ![]() EDIT: It just occurred to me that if you know the unused graphics are part of a certain micro game, you can likely find them already loaded into Visual Boy Advance's Tile Viewer.

It's the OAM viewer in general, as even the graphics in the menus are corrupted in the viewer. And also, I'm using the x64 version of V2.2.2 of VBA-M. Here, let me take an example with Gold Digger, one of the simplest WarioWare microgames. When I use the OAM viewer, the sprites for the nose aren't even in the OAM viewer! (also, i use windows 11)
