So it seems final boss footage has been leaked. I'm avoiding spoiling anymore of the game for myself, but if anyone does watch it, I'm curious to hear some nonspoiler based opinions on it.

I honestly hope it does return since I hate when a series has established elements and then they suddenly drop them (I'm still bummed that Mario didn't turn into 8bit Mario in Sticker Star).

[spoiler]From whats been shown so far Bowser teams up with Antasma to defeat Mario and Luigi, and in one of the earlier battles, it's shown that Antasma does "possess" Bowser, although Bowser is still in full control from the looks of things, Antasma is just powering him up.[/spoiler]

Either way, I'm fine with Bowser teaming up with the bad guy this time. If I'm not mistaken he's tried to help the Bros in every go so far (SS he takes them to the Beanbean kingdom, in PiT his younger self save the babies, and he helped them unintentionally in BiS), so this game is breaking tradition by having him being a flat out villain (I kinda hope he helps you at the end to keep the tradition going though).[/spoiler]

Idk, as much as I'd like to see Wart return one day, we already know the main villain of this game, so adding Wart in there seems like it wouldn't really work. I mean, he's a big baddy, having him show up as a random boss just seems unfitting. If they do bring Wart back, I think it'd be better to do so in a game more revolved around him.
Of course, I wouldn't complain if he did show up because I trust Alpha Dream enough to make it work.

They could easily put Wart in as this game's Tolstar; having him control a minor area of the game much like Tolstar did.
EDIT: I mean Tolstar and Wart seem to generally be the same thing, an alternate Bowser.

I just saw the new european trailer, this game is shaping up to be really good!
It's so unfair that NA gets it a month later
edit: It's also E+10 in NA. Weird.
