i like the colors but for guys who aren't muscular beefcakes their shoulders seem awfully wide

Earlobe's looks a little too high on the left one. The bottom of an ear usually reaches the bottom of the nose.

was "mines on the right" not specific enough

or do i need to say "i did not make the one on the left" for people to see it
no one ever sees comments explaining that there's a reference in the pic no matter who says it, and i've never understood that

if you don't mind my input:

- Neck seems to b "reaching" too much to the left, move it a few pixels away from the chin.
- Nose looks a couple of pixels too high, try lowering it.
- Neck feels a lil long actually, could b just me though.

ear is kinda big if your going for realism, but i kinda dig it like that. Also I'm confused on gender, if that's a guy the jawline is too girly for my taste, but that depends on the look you want to achieve.

yeah he's supposed to look p.androgynous so i guess i got that right?

No the neck doesn't need to be changed its the jaw and mouth that could be pushed forward just a little.
