Yes, but they do it differently. They're more lenient on sexual content and fantasy violence, but they rate things with blood a lot about the same as the ESRB.

It has a CERO rating of B, which is somewhat like the ESRB T.

Not all transgender people aren't gay, and dinosaurs have genders too.
